Are you guys interested in seeing the recently-released Keyshawn Johnson in a Giants uniform this fall?
The Giants drafted Steve Smith in the second round a few days ago, still have Sinorice Moss, and are hopeful Amani Toomer will recover from last season's knee injury.
Yet, New York showed interest in Johnson, 34, a year ago and Coach Tom Coughlin seems open to the idea again this year.
"Well, let's put it this way," Coughlin said yesterday on Sirius NFL Radio. "We study every player that's available and we'll do that again in light of the fact that Keyshawn is available. We weren't necessarily thinking that he would be. Of course we made a move in the draft [Steve Smith] to help solidify that position as well, so we'll take a look at that like we do everything else."
That tells me the Giants are not at all sure Toomer will return at full strength.
Your thoughts?
