Bradshaw impresses in mini-camp

Scouring through reports on the just-concluded Giants rookie mini-camp, it would seem that one of the most impressive players during the three-day session was running back Ahmad Bradshaw.

Here is Coach Tom Coughlin commenting on Bradshaw, after the 7th-round pick from Marshall was particularly solid during Monday morning's workout.

"You would have to say Bradshaw had a noticeable (practice) this morning. I thought he did a nice job. He's been back on kickoff returns, on punt returns. He caught the ball coming out of the backfield. You saw a couple runs where he was able to turn the ball north-south. It catches your eye, for sure."

Bradshaw is an interesting case. He appears to have the skills to challenge for the job as the Giants third-down back, but there are some serious character concerns about him. That's why he nearly went undrafted.

If, however, Bradshaw shows the Giants he can stay out of trouble they might just have found a productive player with their final draft selection. We shall see.
