Linebacker visits; Giants waiting on Leach

According to the Star-Ledger unrestricted free agent linebacker Keith Adams visited the Giants Tuesday.

Adams is undersized (5-foot-11, 223 pounds) and is mostly known for being an excellent special teams player.

He did, however, have the best season of his career while playing for the Eagles in 2005 when he registered 101 tackles. The Eagles linebackers coach that year? New Giants defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo.

On another note, the Giants are still waiting to see if the Texans will match their offer to restricted free agent fullback Vonta Leach.

Leach's agent, Ralph Vitolo, told the New York Post is appears "50-50" as to what the Texans will do.
