Rather than post a full mock draft, I am going to do something a little different.
Below you will find snippets from some of the many mock drafts available from Hail Redskins Mock Draft Database and other places. These snippets will show who the poster believes the Giants should take with their first selection, and in many cases explain why.
Read through them and feel free to send in your own suggestions. I'd love to get some discussion going and see what position(s) you think the Giants most urgently need to address.

OLB Lawrence Timmons (Florida St.)...The Giants need help at the OLB position but could look to move down here since Timmons could still be available several pick later...the Giants have numerous needs and found a HB to compliment Brandon Jacobs when they dealt for Rueben Droughns.
NFL Draft Countdown
OT Levi Brown (Penn State) ... This team is a perfect example of how quickly ones needs can change because in just one day the G-Men released both of their starting outside linebackers and their starting left tackle, making both positions possible targets with this pick. A 'backer like Jon Beason, Lawrence Timmons or Paul Posluszny would be tempting but they are in the market for a strongside guy while those three are all weakside prospects so if he's still available the G-Men would jump all over Levi Brown. Clearly the #2 offensive tackle available after Joe Thomas, Brown has been getting pushed up draft boards because of it and will likely go much higher in 2007 than he would in most years. In fact, he could very easily go in the Top 10 overall with Arizona, Houston, Miami and Atlanta all possible landing spots. It's hard to believe he would fall this far but if he did this would be a no-brainer for the Giants, who need a replacement for Luke Petitgout. Linebacker is still a possibility though along with cornerback, running back and maybe even defensive tackle.
Draft Connection
OT Levi Brown (Penn State) ... Brown can perform the tasks of defending E. Manning and opening holes for whoever's running the ball as he is a very physical LT, maybe more physical that Joe Thomas, though not as athletic.
Don Banks (Sports Illustrated)
CB Chris Houston Arkansas ... We know they need an OT, but Levi Brown is gone. New York also could use a corner. Houston had a great combine, and his cover skills are well-developed. He's a name on the rise.
The Sports XChange (CBS Sportsline)
CB Aaron Ross (Texas) ... Sam Madison is old. Corey Webster is coming off an injury-marred disappointing season. R.W. McQuarters is best used as a nickel defender. Ross has great speed and won the Thorpe Award in 2006 as the nation's best defensive back.
Clark Judge (CBS Sportsline)
OLB Lawrence Timmons (Florida State) ... They waived two of their three starting linebackers, so, yes, there's a need. Timmons is raw, but he has great speed and quickness.

LB Lawrence Timmons (Florida State)
Personally, right now I would like to see the Giants go for a linebacker with this pick.
Very soon I will begin taking a position-by-position look at the roster and breaking down what I think are the primary areas of need. Suffice to say, however, the Giants need lots of help defensively.
A play-making linebacker would be a huge addition.
