A couple of injury notes as the Giants get ready for Sunday's game in London against the Dolphins.
Starting safety James Butler, wide receiver Steve Smith and running back Derrick Ward are all questionable.
Butler has a hamstring injury, and he's likely to be replaced by rookie Michael Johnson. Personally, I've been looking forward to seeing what Johnson, the seventh-round pick from Arizona, can do. He's been impressive in limited duty.
Smith, nearly recovered from a shoulder injury, tweaked a hamstring during the week. He seems to be following in the fine tradition of injury-prone Giants third wide receivers.
As for Ward, his ankle injury has been preventing him from practicing. The giants appear likely to let him rest and let Reuben Droughns share the load with Brandon Jacobs for a week. Personally, I have no concerns about that.
