The Giants face the Atlanta Falcons Monday night. Thus, a Falcons cheerleader graces our page this week. |
Justice, you'll remember, was the poor fill-in Eagles left tackle whom Osi Umenyiora victimized for six sacks on a Sunday night a couple of weeks ago.
Well, the Falcons face a similar situation Monday. They just found out that they will be without 14-year veteran left tackle Wayne Gandy for the rest of the season. Gandy tore an anterior cruciate ligament last weekend against Tennessee.
In Gandy's place will be a rookie undrafted free agent, Renardo Foster.
Having seen what Umenyiora did to Justice, you would have to think Atlanta Coach Bobby Petrino will give Foster help on Monday night -- something Eagles Coach Andy Reid didn't do for Justice.
Still, though, it's an injury that should bode well for Umenyiora and the Giants pass rush.
