Tuesday afternoon the New York Giants will hold their final practice of the 2012 training camp at UAlbany. The question of the day is, will the Giants ever be coming back to Albany?
Umenyiora would not be surprised by whatever move the GIants make concerning his future with the orgnaization
For any other G-Men fans in the DC market, I compared schedules with the Redskins and Ravens and created this google spreed sheet for which games will be televised locally, which might be televised locally, and which most likely won't. We'll have to wait until the networks announce their games to know for sure but this will give you an idea for now. Hope people find it useful. Feel free to let me know if I've made any mistakes, too.
Somebody call the cops! The Monday Night Football game was hijacked and taken over! We are now on the look out for a 6 foot man, weighing about 200 pounds and going by the name of Victor Cruz.
This is sounding much worse for the young safety.
Be sure and check out Talking Giants Football, a local Blog Talk radio show. Live tonight at 10 pm.
There's been a lot of discussion about the validity of Eli's new contract. Here's a good article from the FO guys putting his contract into context. Helps to show that Eli's contract is not necessarily the record-setting deal that people have made it out to be, but is in fact inferior in a number of respects to a number of deals other QBs in the league have gotten (i.e. Brady's 6.625 mil/yr guaranteed). Doesn't necessarily justify his contract, but it certainly makes it seem a whole lot more reasonable.
Jason Cole of Yahoo Sports, citing sources with knowledge of the negotiations, says that Braylon Edwards will be a New York Giant by Draft Day. The Browns are asking for Steve Smith, and a 2nd and 5th round pick. The Giants have countered with Domenik Hixon and the same picks. I think either of those is a lot to pay, and it still leaves them with a hole at WR, albeit a smaller one. Kudos to BigBl42 for finding this.
remember the good times fellas
