Schedule released

I'm apparently not so good at this vacation thing. Here's your just-released Giants schedule.

The toughest stretch on here is the Redskins, Eagles and Cowboys in successive weeks from Weeks 13 - 15. That's a difficult stretch, especially toward the end of the year.

Week 1 -- Sept. 4 (Thursday) vs. Washington, 7 p.m.
Week 2 -- Sept. 14 at St. Louis Rams, 1 p.m.
Week 3 -- Sept. 21 vs. Cincinnati Bengals, 1 p.m.
Week 4 -- Sept. 28 Bye
Week 5 -- Oct. 5 vs. Seattle Seahawks, 1 p.m.
Week 6 -- Oct. 13 at Cleveland Browns, (Mon.) 8:30 p.m.
Week 7 -- Oct. 19 vs. San Francisco 49ers, 1 p.m.
Week 8 -- Oct. 26 at Pittsburgh Steelers, 4:15 p.m.
Week 9 -- Nov. 2 vs. Dallas Cowboys, 4:15 p.m.
Week 10 -- Nov. 9 at Philadelphia Eagles, 8:15 p.m.
Week 11 -- Nov. 16 vs. Baltimore Ravens, 1 p.m.
Week 12 -- Nov. 23 at Arizona Cardinals, 4:15 p.m.
Week 13 -- Nov. 30 at Washington Redskins, 1 p.m.
Week 14 -- Dec. 7 vs. Philadelphia Eagles, 1 p.m.
Week 15 -- Dec. 14 at Dallas Cowboys*, 8:15 p.m.
Week 16 -- Dec. 21 vs. Carolina Panthers, 1 p.m.
Week 17 -- Dec. 28 at Minnesota Vikings, 1 p.m.

* Subject to change.

Yay for new schedules!
I was planning to attend the Vikings game, since it's in my neck of the woods, but now I'm kinda bummed it's a week 17 game (e.g. meaningless).

My favorite part of the schedule - we make a four week run through the old NFC East litter: Cards, Skins, Eagles, then Cowboys.  Good times.

week 17
last year was Pats-Giants, it was the best "meaningless" game I've ever been to. I'd go to the Week 17 game anyway if I were you.

BEAUTIFUL!!!!!
I'm going to AZ for the game, and November is maybe the best month of the year out there, the weather is perfect

Oh, well
Still no respect, I guess.

I wouldn't read too much into it.
Monday's not the big deal that it used to be when ABC carried the games.  ESPN doesn't draw nearly as well.  And NBC has that flexible schedule that allows them to flip Sunday games late in the season, depending upon who's the best draw.

A better gauge might be how many of their network games (i.e., Fox and CBS) are broadcast nationally.  And right now there's no way of knowing that.

Hell Super Bowl Champs
And we still get a 2nd place schedule

They've got
9 early games, 3 late-afternoon games, and 4 prime-time games. I like that...I hate the 4:15 time slot.

thats means i have to get to the bar early
to catch those out of market games.  hopefully the skins will be out of the playoff race by the time they come down to dc and i can score some seats without paying out my ass.  its a lot like jets games down here that way.

i like the way we're kicking off the season too.

should be a 3-0 start
but the rest of the schedule looks pretty tough.

One thing for sure
Giants will really need to get off to a fast start, the second half of the season is tough

I really don't see why they shouldn't be 5-2 or better going into the game with Dallas.

psssssttt.....Giants are Super Bowl Champs!!!

Giants SB Champs
i kept repeating that in my head when watching the knicks set a franchise record for losses for the 2nd time in three years.
