• Seven years, $70 million. That is apparently the price the Oakland Raiders will pay for cornerback DeAngelo Hall. For that kind of money, thank goodness the Giants passed. Jerry Reese can probably collect 3-4 players with that $10 million each season.

• Former Giant cornerback William James has signed with the Buffalo Bills.

• Chad Johnson is still at an impasse with the Cincinnati Bengals.

• NFL says off-the-field player behavior is improving. With PacMan Jones out of the league I could have told you that.

• Jets take a long look at Darren McFadden.

Yeah we all knew he was slipping a bit

but, he should be fun to watch (from a long distance) for a few more years. Maybe he'd be interested in trading for Awasom. Jerry Reese should run, not walk to the nearest phone.

Bryant McKinnie is facing felony charges for his part in a bar brawl here in South Florida (More athletes get in trouble down here than anyplace else)

Lendale White was arrested in Denver last week for destruction of property and resisting arrest

Panthers receiver Dwayne Jarrett, DUI

This is all in the 6 weeks since the Giants became Super Bowl Champions (never gets old)

If the NFL really thinks this is improvement, thats sad
