Eli getting some respect
Interesting article today by Don Banks of SI.com, ranking playoff quarterbacks.
Banks has our man Eli ranked 4th, behind Tom Brady, Peyton Manning and Brett Favre BUT ahead of Tony Romo and Matt Hasselbeck.
I'm not sure I agree with those rankings. It seems like a stretch to put Eli ahead of Romo and Hasselbeck based on two very good back-to-back games.
Nonetheless, that is what Banks thinks. I'm sure it will stir up a little debate around here.

those rankings are obviously based
You're right ETVal, its a really big stretch. We'll see which QB plays the best Sunday, I know I'd bet my next paycheck its #9.

Eli
However it has been encouraging lately to see Eli show a little better body language and some actual excitement.
As for Romo lets not forget that in spite of his great potential he has only played for a few games. Terry, don't forget that there is a fairly long list of great quarterbacks that have strung together more good seasons than Romo has games under his belt. And Romo hasn't distinguished himself in a few of those. I think he might be an excellent quarterback but has yet to pass the test of time.

anyone else getting nervous
im used to the articles asking for TC's firing and about eli being a bust and about the fans booing during home games.
i don't want our boys too cocky going into dallas. but if they've read anything written this week, their confidence is going to be ridiculously high. i guess that can't be a bad thing...
