Holy frozen gonads, Batman!

GO GMEN
I'm wearing my Eli Manning jersey which I've worn only 4 times this season: Buffalo, New England, Tampa, and Dallas. Hopefully they keep the streak of playing great when I wear it alive.

I believe
Think back to 1990 NFC Championship game against the heavily favored Niners, 5FG, a fake punt and we got it done.

Same Jokers
That picked Tampa down the line. These guy's don't know jack, they just exercise what the majority think and that's all rapped up in Farve sap stories about feelings and emotion. Feel the sacks today and cry again like last year.

I live in Denver
and you'd never know from the sports section today that The Great Brett(tm) even has any opposition today.

GOOD LUCK BLUE!

Amazing
that even though we are the Giants, we are playing the role of David more than we are playing the role of the giant.

by GAgiantfan on Jan 20, 2008 5:55 PM EST reply actions

Ok,
here comes the Fox pregame Packers love fest. Can we just play some football and shut this idiots up?

by potroast on Jan 20, 2008 6:13 PM EST reply actions

Call me superstitious,
but I'm worried now because Terry Bradshaw picked the Giants to win.

by NYinCalifornia on Jan 20, 2008 6:34 PM EST reply actions

Jacobs
I wish we seen Bradshaw a little. They went away from the run too much after he got stuffed on the first down.

by DoctorK16 on Jan 20, 2008 7:02 PM EST reply actions

Yeah
They could have used Bradshaw's speed there.

by potroast on Jan 20, 2008 7:04 PM EST up reply actions

Kicking
The Kicking game is going to be hard today. Feagles never does that.

by DoctorK16 on Jan 20, 2008 7:14 PM EST reply actions

6-0
Defense looks great so far. I wish we could 7 instead of these field goals.

by Ed Valentine on Jan 20, 2008 7:32 PM EST reply actions

SAW that big play
coming.  Oh dear goodness, the 6 points it took us a quarter to get to, they scored in 5 seconds.

by NYinCalifornia on Jan 20, 2008 7:36 PM EST reply actions

Butler again
Looked like he blew the secondary coverage behind Webster. Have to replace this guy in the offseason.

by potroast on Jan 20, 2008 7:38 PM EST reply actions

Not Butler's fault
Webster got thrown to the ground ... he had man coverage.

by Ed Valentine on Jan 20, 2008 8:12 PM EST up reply actions

I wouldn't mind so much if they were
actually penalties.  I'd rephrase to "These CALLS are killing us."

by Mr Met @ Big Blue View on Jan 20, 2008 7:59 PM EST up reply actions

Wow
What a play by Pierce! That's determination!

by potroast on Jan 20, 2008 8:03 PM EST reply actions

Come on Eli
Bring us some no huddle magic!

by potroast on Jan 20, 2008 8:03 PM EST reply actions

Oh well
Good half. One blown coverage away from controlling this game.

by potroast on Jan 20, 2008 8:11 PM EST up reply actions

Got a shot
Geez, one blown coverage and one near-miss to Burress away from being a couple of scores ahead. We've got a shot, and that's all you can ask for.

by Ed Valentine on Jan 20, 2008 8:13 PM EST reply actions

Eli
has done a good job. Couple of balls that maybe could/should have been caught, but you can't kill receivers for dropping balls in that weather.

by Ed Valentine on Jan 20, 2008 8:17 PM EST reply actions

Definitely not
The Giants have a good game plan & are playing well. Coaches have been good at adjusting too, so let's keep the faith.

by potroast on Jan 20, 2008 8:25 PM EST up reply actions

That last pass...
we're throwing it a lot more today than the last few games...

by NYinCalifornia on Jan 20, 2008 8:30 PM EST up reply actions

Heart in my throat that last pass.
I don't mind the increased number of passes, but the turnovers cannot start!

by NYinCalifornia on Jan 20, 2008 8:34 PM EST reply actions

Running between the tackles
appears to not be working for us today.

by Mr Met @ Big Blue View on Jan 20, 2008 8:34 PM EST reply actions

Time to mix in Bradshaw!
Why does it have to be 1 of them for an entire series?

by potroast on Jan 20, 2008 8:37 PM EST reply actions

13-10
A little help from the Packers. Thank you!!

by Ed Valentine on Jan 20, 2008 8:44 PM EST reply actions

Great
Just when we get momentum.

by potroast on Jan 20, 2008 8:46 PM EST reply actions

Butler is useless
I don't understand why Johnson isn't the starter.

by potroast on Jan 20, 2008 8:55 PM EST up reply actions

Amazing
how far Webster has come so fast

by potroast on Jan 20, 2008 9:18 PM EST reply actions

yeah
He and the quarterback just figured it out at the same time. Fucking McQuarters.

by DoctorK16 on Jan 20, 2008 9:19 PM EST up reply actions

McQuarters
I don't know if its just me, but it seems like Giants corners have a knack for getting an INT & then turning it over on the same play?

by potroast on Jan 20, 2008 9:22 PM EST up reply actions

its happened alot in the last 3-4 years
Kiwi last year comes to mind. I think Sam Madison has also had it happen too.

by DoctorK16 on Jan 20, 2008 9:25 PM EST up reply actions

NFL
Looking for that Favre-Brady matchup.

by potroast on Jan 20, 2008 9:48 PM EST reply actions

what a joke that hold was
that the kind of call that makes you think of Donhagy. That happens on every play in the NFL.

by DoctorK16 on Jan 20, 2008 9:54 PM EST up reply actions

Defense
Defense just needs to keep doing what they've been doing. Don't give Favre time.

by potroast on Jan 20, 2008 10:06 PM EST reply actions

47 yards
longest in Lambeau postseason history

by NYinCalifornia on Jan 20, 2008 10:14 PM EST reply actions

Wow!
F U all of U experts! Eli Manning is going to the superbowl!!!!!!

by potroast on Jan 20, 2008 10:20 PM EST reply actions

UN-F%#^!-REAL!!!
YES!!

Wow, we seriously played an amazing game.  Without the fumbles and bad calls we would have won by a large margin.  We dominated that team all over the field.

Well, I'm a Giant fan living in Pats country (Boston). If I were to consider thinking about laying the foundation to possibly plan a Giants celebration/parade IN BOSTON would I be jinxing anything, or are we playing with so much house money at this point that it doesn't even matter?

by Nick T @ Big Blue View on Jan 20, 2008 10:23 PM EST reply actions

Words fail me
I am total shock.

I will say this.  Last week, after the Dallas game, I was one of the people who said that the self destruction of the Cowboys was as responsible for the win as the play of the Giants.

I can not say that this week.  The Giants won that game, flat out.  They deserve that win.

wow wow wow

by NYERinSF on Jan 20, 2008 10:32 PM EST reply actions

CONGRATULATIONS
TO ALL THE BIG BLUE VIEWERS!!!!!!!

And too bad for the annoying cheeseheads and cowgirls.

I find their lack of faith......

distuuuuurbing.

by Mr Met @ Big Blue View on Jan 20, 2008 10:32 PM EST reply actions

Stunning win in bad conditions in a poorly
officiated game.  What heart this team has.  They never hang their heads.  The contributions by the young guys and Hixon makes me think of Reese as a genius.  And next year he'll have lot of $, something he didn't this year.  You know what?  I think we'll take the PATS.  This is shaping up as an all-time team of destiny.

by george cronin on Jan 20, 2008 10:33 PM EST reply actions

I heard someone talking on the FAN
about the "Godfather Theory" - basically righting all the wrongs, starting with Garcia, then Romo, then Ferfarvruh, then....

Brady.

Why the hell not?

by Mr Met @ Big Blue View on Jan 20, 2008 10:35 PM EST up reply actions

I can't believe
what I just saw!!!!!

Weve avenged all the losses we could.................Just 1 more!!!!!!!!

by big blue wrecking crew on Jan 20, 2008 10:36 PM EST reply actions

This team
is simply one helluva lot better than anyone thought, myself included.

by Ed Valentine on Jan 20, 2008 10:50 PM EST up reply actions

indeed
Webster man, 3 weeks a go he was riding the pine as Accorsi's last bust.  Where did this come?  I'd also like to go on record as suspecting the Gilbride was fired after the Skins game, and the man on the sidelines is Schottenhimer with fat suit and fake mustache.
