Ward, Bradshaw, Grant impress
The competition for the third running back spot behind Brandon Jacobs and Reuben Droughns got a lot more interesting Saturday night.
Derrick Ward, Ahmad Bradshaw and even Ryan Grant made good impressions.
Ward has been with the Giants since 2004 and has mostly been an afterthought. A 67-yard kickoff return and 29 rushing yards showed he in intent on changing that, though.
Bradshaw had 19 rushing yards and showed the ability to be a good receiver out of the backfield with three catches. He did fumble at the end of the game, though.
Grant, a longshot to make the team, had a team-high 44 yards rushing.
It will be interesting to see which of those three can keep up the pace during the next couple of weeks.

I agree
The defense looked ho hum but maybe they will play better as the pre season goes on. Bell and Joseph really have no clue. I thought Tuck looked promising though. Good thing because he may be our guy at DE.
Moss is going to be a play maker. To me it seems every time he touches the ball he could be gone.
