• Washington Coach Joe Gibbs is feeling defensive after several of his decisions in Sunday's loss to Philadelphia were questioned. Even the players are defending their coach.
• Ben Roethlisberger is always compared to Eli Manning. Some folks seem to think he is playing so well that's the wrong Manning to judge him against. Pittsburgh Tribune-Review

• Ryan Grant, whom the Giants traded to Green Bay right before the season started, has rushed for more than 100 yards twice in the Packers last three games. Grant leads the Packers with 305 rushing yards and is averaging 4.2 yards per carry.

I still can't believe
I got the sense when the Giants traded Ryan Grant, they didn't want to, but knew they had to. Even the players were saying he was going to be a very good RB in the NFL. I watched the game on Sunday, it was great to see him do well.

Just one of those things I guess.
Hey, did anybody else catch Coughlin praising Bradshaw? Think this means he's back as the top dog in the return game? Looking at the value guys like Josh Cribbs on Cleveland and of course Hester bring to their teams, having a good return guy would be a boon to an already strong offense. Hell, I'd even take the occasional fumble if it means potential game breaking ability and great field position.
