A sight we hope to see a lot of Sunday afternoon

The quarterback will, of course, be Tony Romo of Drew Bledsoe (shown here), but the sight of defenders in red jerseys smashing into a Dallas quarterback is one Giants fans hope to see a lot of Sunday afternoon.

Funny about Bledsoe....
So many variables can affect the fate of a quarterback' career.  Maybe if he had started in Dallas he would have had a truly stellar career.

I expect offense will probobly dominate today's game.  I know our defense is much better now but Romo, TO, and Whitten are going to score points.

The biggest improvement I see is in Eli's play pass fakes.  Kudos to whoever made this a priority!  It has provided a better lane for throws and more time to go to second and third receivers.  Of course it only works if the threat of a run in real but I think it will be.

I still haven't given up on Moss.  With his speed and all the attention Plaxico and Toomer will receive he just might catch three or four today.

Moss
He catches what is thrown to him. I am waiting to see him make somebody miss and turn a short catch into a big play.

if Bledsoe was still the starter
you guys would have a great chance of winning. ;)

Romo....
looks a bit awkward when he runs, doesn't have the smooth release that the really great ones have, but has great tenacity and can take a hit.  He reminds me a bit of Theisman.  He makes things happen under duress.

I wouldn't read too much into last night's game.  The Giants were very flat, and the Cowboys came to play.

This running the play clock down to the last second which broadcasts the exact moment of the snap, giving the defense a jump on the ball has got to end.  Eli spends the last few seconds getting his people in their correct positions and doesn't have even one second to check the defensive schemes.  A problem like that should be easy to correct.

don't compare him to that moron
his game is nothing like Theismann, he's 100 times better.

I compare to a young Bret Favre, only more disiplined.

Romo
is really, really good.  but to say that romo in his first full season is 100 times better than a player that was an NFL MVP and won a Super Bowl is a but much, even for you Terry.

when was Theismann a MVP??
Theismann was garbage and so what he won a SB, so did Brad Johnson, Trent Dilfer and Jeff Hostetler.

1983
3,714 yards, 29 TD, 11 INT also 234 yards rushing and another score.  that earned him MVP honors.

theismann actually rushed for almost 2,000 yards in his career which is a statistic that people tend to overlook.  was he an all-time great?  no.  but he had a very solid NFL career.

also his postseason numbers:
128-211, 1,782 yards, 11 TD, 7 INT - most of that came in 1982-83 when the Skins went to back-to-back super bowls.

i know you're a die-hard fan Terry, and i know that you love your team.  but if you come in here and spout nonsense about a player who has barely started a full season being "100 times better" than a very good QB, you need something to back it up.  to compare him to brad johnson, trent dilfer and jeff hostettler is an insult.

Those numbers aren't MVP numbers
Romo's numbers this season will blow those away and if it wasn't for Brady's insane season, Romo would probably have a very good shot at being MVP this season, in his first season as a starter.

If thats Theisman's best, then I stand behind my statement he'll be 100 times better as Romo is still in his infancy as a QB in this league.

big difference between
"he'll be" and "he is" - since you changed your stance on that i'm not going to argue with you.  romo very well could be 100X better than theismann.  i just thought you were saying that he already IS 100X better than theismann...
