A sight we hope to see a lot of Sunday afternoon

The quarterback will, of course, be Tony Romo of Drew Bledsoe (shown here), but the sight of defenders in red jerseys smashing into a Dallas quarterback is one Giants fans hope to see a lot of Sunday afternoon.

Funny about Bledsoe....
I expect offense will probobly dominate today's game. I know our defense is much better now but Romo, TO, and Whitten are going to score points.
The biggest improvement I see is in Eli's play pass fakes. Kudos to whoever made this a priority! It has provided a better lane for throws and more time to go to second and third receivers. Of course it only works if the threat of a run in real but I think it will be.
I still haven't given up on Moss. With his speed and all the attention Plaxico and Toomer will receive he just might catch three or four today.

Romo....
I wouldn't read too much into last night's game. The Giants were very flat, and the Cowboys came to play.
This running the play clock down to the last second which broadcasts the exact moment of the snap, giving the defense a jump on the ball has got to end. Eli spends the last few seconds getting his people in their correct positions and doesn't have even one second to check the defensive schemes. A problem like that should be easy to correct.

when was Theismann a MVP??
by Terry @ Big Blue View on Nov 12, 2007 11:17 AM EST up reply actions
1983
theismann actually rushed for almost 2,000 yards in his career which is a statistic that people tend to overlook. was he an all-time great? no. but he had a very solid NFL career.
also his postseason numbers:
128-211, 1,782 yards, 11 TD, 7 INT - most of that came in 1982-83 when the Skins went to back-to-back super bowls.
i know you're a die-hard fan Terry, and i know that you love your team. but if you come in here and spout nonsense about a player who has barely started a full season being "100 times better" than a very good QB, you need something to back it up. to compare him to brad johnson, trent dilfer and jeff hostettler is an insult.

Those numbers aren't MVP numbers
If thats Theisman's best, then I stand behind my statement he'll be 100 times better as Romo is still in his infancy as a QB in this league.
