Minneapolis, MN (Sports Network) - Minnesota Vikings kick returner and backup defensive back Charles Gordon was carted off the field in Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers with a left ankle injury.
The three-year veteran was injured when he fielded a Derrick Frost punt inside the Vikings 10-yard-line midway through the second quarter. He appeared to have his ankle caught under a Green Bay tackler while trying to fight for extra yardage.
He had two punt returns for 20 yards and a kickoff return for 19 yards before leaving the game. Prior to the contest, he had two interceptions and 74 total tackles in 32 games over three seasons with the Vikings.
