Recap: Cincinnati vs. Jacksonville

Cincinnati, OH (Sports Network) - Ryan Fitzpatrick threw for 162 yards and two touchdowns, and Chad Johnson caught both, giving the Cincinnati Bengals a 21-19 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars for the team's first victory of the year.
Fitzpatrick also ran for a career-high 52 yards, in addition to completing 21- of-31 passes for the Bengals (1-8), who snapped a four-game losing streak against the Jaguars. Johnson caught five passes for 37 yards, and Cedric Benson ran for 104 yards and a touchdown on 24 carries.
David Garrard threw for 236 yards on 23-of-38 passing with an interception, and Maurice Jones-Drew had 94 total yards and a rushing score for Jacksonville (3-5), which has now lost two straight games since its bye week. Matt Jones caught seven passes for 77 yards, and Montell Owens had a fumble return for a touchdown.
The Jaguars' rushing attack struggled, gaining only 68 yards. The Bengals, on the other hand, had a balanced offense, running for 156 yards and passing for 153 more.
