Chiefs RB Smith leaves game

Kansas City, MO (Sports Network) - Kansas City Chiefs running back Kolby Smith suffered an apparent knee injury in Sunday's contest against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The second-year player went down during a drive in the middle of the second quarter. He was helped to the sideline, where trainers tended to the injury. To that point, Smith had rushed 10 times for 46 yards and one score, and his return is questionable.
Smith was part of a two-pronged running attack, with rookie Jamaal Charles, playing in place of Larry Johnson, who was deactivated by the Chiefs because of off-the-field issues.
