These 'Who Powered Through' posts are meant to honor players who overcame pain or tremendous obstacles to be successful. I really could not think of a current New York Giant who embodies 'powering through' more than offensive lineman Rich Seubert.

Remember that Seubert suffered what should have been a career-ending injury in 2003 when he broke the tibia, fibula and ankle in his right leg during a game against the Philadelphia Eagles. It took five surgeries and two seasons, but Seubert returned to the Giants as a reserve in 2005. He has been a starter, and a largely successful one, on one of the league's best offensive lines since 2007.

I would say that qualifies him as a player who 'powered through.'
