Muhsin Muhammad was a highly-valued contributor to that 2003 squad, and the veteran wide receiver was an even bigger part of Carolinas offense the following year, when he established career bests of 1,405 receiving yards and 16 touchdowns. The 2004 campaign would also be Muhammads last as a Panther, with the Midwest native bolting for Chicago as a free agent following a decorated nine-year career with the Cats.
