Inactives: Kenny Phillips out Sunday for Giants

Stay connected for news and updates

Safety Kenny Phillips (knee) will not play today for the New York Giants against the New Orleans Saints. Wide receiver Hakeem Nicks, however, will play today. Also, linebacker Jacquian Williams -- who has not played since Week 6 -- will be in uniform today for the Giants as they try to hang onto first place in the NFC East.

Phillips played for the past two weeks after missing six games, but his troublesome knee will keep him sidelined. That means Stevie Brown will start at safety. Without Phillips and Sash the Giants are unlikely to employ much of their three-safety package. Williams, a solid cover linebacker, could play significant snaps if his knee will allow.

Complete inactives for both teams are listed below.
