Well, it looks like the New York Giants are bound and determined to put themselves in as desperate a situation as they possibly can. The Giants trail the Baltimore Ravens, 24-7, at halftime in a game they simply have to win in order to maintain control of their playoff destiny.
The Giants have now been outscored 58-7 in their last six quarters.
The Ravens scored on their first two drives, getting a six-yard pass from Joe Flacco to Torrey Smith and a one-yard run by Flacco. The Giants got a 14-yard run by David Wilson before the Ravens added a 23-yard field goal by Justin Tucker. Baltimore added a 27-yard pass to Ray Rice to stretch the lead in the closing moments of the half
Baltimore has picked mercilessly on Giants' cornerback Corey Webster with the veteran unable to contain Ravens' wide receiver Torrey Smith (four catches, 81 yards, one touchdown). The Giants have gotten no pressure on Flacco, and Rice and Bernard Pierce have run 19 times for 87 yards.
Eli Manning is 9-of-13 for 106 yards for the Giants.

Justin Tuck will not play Sunday for the New York Giants when they face the Baltimore Ravens. Tuck, the Giants' defensive end and captain, headlines the team's list of inactives. Also on the list is Kenny Phillips, who has been in and out of the lineup the past few weeks with a knee injury.
The complete list:
Ramses Barden, Tyler Sash, Phillips, Travis Beckum, Adewale Ojomo, Adrien Robinson and Tuck.
Tuck did not practice this week due to a shoulder injury. Phillips practiced this week, so his being inactive is a surprise.
Running back Ahmad Bradshaw, who missed last week with a knee injury, will play today.
Tuck being down means Osi Umenyiora and Mathias Kiwanuka will likely play increased snaps. Adrian Tracy may also factor into the defensive end rotation. Without Phillips, rookie Will Hill is likely to continue as the team's third safety. The Giants also appear to have kept an extra running back active in the event Bradshaw can't make it through.
