Here is some of the post-game reaction from the locker room following the New York Giants' 42-7 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. The Giants are out of the playoffs despite the win, and despite finishing with the same 9-7 record they had a season ago when they won the Super Bowl.

I thought we did a lot of good things today from an execution standpoint. Certainly, Eli had a very, very good game. We rushed for 185 yards, which was an outstanding way to finish the season. Bradshaw went over 100 yards and Wilson, I think, had 75. We had a lot of contributions from a lot of different people. We played well on defense in order to hold them, certainly, to just seven points throughout the majority of the ballgame. ... I was very proud of our team, the way we played today. You are going to want to ask me about the last couple and I don’t have any answers for you on that one.
I’m just happy. If it is, then I’m just happy to have been in this situation and to have played for this organization, played for this team and to have accomplished the things that we’ve accomplished here as a team. You never know what’s going to happen, but if indeed it is, then it is what it is and I’m going to go out smiling. It was a great victory.
That we're resilient. That we have tremendous pride and that we played with passion and we went out and proved to the world that we're a good team and we finished on a right note, not just for ourselves but for our fans and everybody else that loves Giants football.
We always want to win a championship here regardless even if we had won eight in a row. We missed it this year. It’s still disappointing. Regardless of what we’ve done in the past, we learn from the past and try to move forward. We were that way last year coming off a Super Bowl win and we’ll be that way going into the offseason without making the playoffs. You still have to have that hunger to be the best regardless of if you’re last in the league or first in the league.
Antrel Rolle on missing the playoffs:
We can't be mad at anyone but ourselves at this point. There's not really anything to be mad at, at this point. We had several chances to close it out and not leave it in the hands of other opponents and we didn't do that. So we have to build on that and make sure we build on being a more consistent team and just keep our heads up high.
