In an entry posted on his own web site, New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. writes that he has "big visions for 2015."
Beckham did address his health in the blog entry, saying "My hamstring is feeling a lot better and I don't want to go through what I went through last year."
Last year, of course, Beckham missed almost all of training camp, the entire preseason and the first four regular-season games before having a historic 12-game stretch as a rookie. This year, he missed much of the spring battle more hamstring issues.
Beckham also added that his "main focus will always be on football" and that he wants to "follow and learn" from two-time Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning.

Remember the firestorm at the end of minicamp when Beckham skipped out on a scheduled media session? In recent weeks, Beckham seems to have taken control of the message he wants to deliver. He did a one-on-interview with Sports Illustrated, a one-on-one with Kim Jones of NFL Network, spoke briefly to Paul Schwartz of the New York Post and now has penned this.
Perhaps these forums he has chosen are coincidence. Perhaps they are more hand-picked interviews designed to allow him to answer questions or say what he wants or needs to say in a comfortable setting rather than in the circus of a massive media scrum at his locker or on a podium with reporters and videographers jostling for position. If he is choosing these forums, I have no problem with that. I can't blame him for trying to reign in the frenzy somehow.
