Good morning, New York Giants fans! In addition to general manager Jerry Reese, the Giants made so many players available to the media on Thursday that it will take us days to get through all the potential story angles that presented themselves. Let's quickly recap some of what we have been able to report.
- Reese was in fine form Thursday, dropping all of his standard cliches during his annual pre-draft press conference. Reese did, however, drop a few tidbits of information that we could learn from.
- Offensive lineman Justin Pugh was in a terrific mood. He's got a new puppy. He wants Brandon Scherff. He has dropped his resistance to moving inside if he is asked to do so. And he had a little fun with the signing of CFL lineman Brett Jones.
- Nat Berhe is looking forward to proving he can start in the NFL. Intentionally or not, he did tweak ex-defensive coordinator Perry Fewell, as well.
- Wide receiver Victor Cruz said he has "zero doubts" he will be ready to play when the regular season begins.
