How about Dallas Reynolds at RG?

I think he'll be a better pick. He is more experienced. Giants kept him around locked him in before they signed Walton or drafted Richburg. He filled in well for Baas when he went down and Snee at RG when he got injured. Any comments?

Right now Jerry is coming off of injury so he not going to be 100% on a OLine that is already depleted. And risk further injury! I like the idea of Richburg playing LG which is where he should've been in the first place and Schwartz at RG where he excelled last season... and maybe he wouldn't be hurt right now.

I'd even go one step further and give Beatty some addtional time off to study the playbook and watch the starters mistakes from the sidelines and rehab further. (Which is what all the starters should be doing on Thursday once they get subbed out by the 2nd & 3rd team). A more experienced player coming off of injury is not as good as a healthy player.

So I'd put Pugh and Richburg on the left side to start the season & Reynolds and Gaines on the right side... Just to start the season that's all for 2 games! Atleast Vs. the Lions. And get prepared for the Texans tough front line?

Eventually I'd like the Line to be;

Beatty Richburg Walton Schwartz & Pugh

But for now:

Pugh Richburg Walton Reynolds & Gaines

Beatty comes Game 3 or 4 then;

Beatty/Gaines, Richburg/Jerry, Walton, Reynolds/Jerry, & Pugh

Once season is in full stride I believe the starters will emerge who ever they are! But the solution isn't so much to place talent out of natural position.

Pugh started LT in college. Reynolds can play both Guards as well as Center. Gaines has turned heads.

I'd like to see more of Mr. "Pancake" Herman

I'd also keep 2 TE most of the time. It may stuff the line but I'd rather that than Eli running for his life!

Thank you and have a great day!

Chucho

Ps. In any event I look forward to this new season!
