Former New York Giants great Michael Strahan gets inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame next weekend. Today, it is the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown that is in the spotlight, as the Class of 2014 is officially inducted.
Joe Torre, former manager of the New York Yankees, is among Sunday's inductees. Managers Tony La Russa and Bobby Cox, pitchers Tom Glavine and Greg Maddux and slugger Frank Thomas joining what is really an extraordinary Hall of Fame class. This, incidentally, is the largest induction class since 1971.
