The salary cap for 2014 has gone up from $123 million to $130 million, giving every team an extra $7mil in cap space. With that in mind, our beloved New York Giants currently have $110.933 committed to our top 51 and $2.778 mil in dead money, giving us a cap figure of $113.711 mil. As of now we are sitting comfortably with $16.288 million in cap space. With extensions for Antrelle Rolle (and possibly Eli, depending on how agressive we want to be in free agency), cutting Snee, and designating Baas and Kiwi post-June 1 cuts, we can have roughly $32 mil in cap space going into Free Agency.
Ain't it nice to have some money?
