The Sunday Night showdown between the Arizona Cardinals (11-3) and Seattle Seahawks (10-4) could decide the fate of the NFC West, and maybe even the course of the NFC playoffs.
It's taken a while, but the Seahawks are rounding back into their championship form with a punishing running game and a fearsome defense. Though Marshawn Lynch is contemplating retirement after the season, he is still every bit the outstanding -- and incredibly physical -- runner the Seahawks have come to expect.
The Cardinals, on the other hand, have been battling injuries all season. Terrific coaching has coaxed 11 wins out of a team that has lost a number of key players, including their starting quarterback, Carson Palmer. Tonight, they find themselves playing the Seattle Seahawks with their third string quarterback, Ryan Lindley. Despite all their troubles, the Cardinals are 7-0 at home, and their hyper-aggressive defense has been the difference maker all season long.
