New York Giants' schedule ninth-easiest in NFL

Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sport

The Giants have had brutal schedules the past few seasons. On paper, that is not the case in 2013.

On paper, the New York Giants have the ninth-easiest schedule in the NFL for the 2013 season.  Of course, you are free to make up your own mind regarding what that paper is worth.

The team's on the Giants' 2013 schedule went 123-133 in 2012, a .480 winning percentage. The Giants play nine games against teams that went .500 or better a season ago, and six games against 2012 playoff teams.

For purpose of comparing the Giants' schedule to NFC East teams, the combined winning percentages of opponents those teams face is as follows:

Washington Redskins (.498), Philadelphia Eagles (.496), Dallas Cowboys (.475).

The hardest schedule in the league, on paper, belongs to the Carolina Panthers (.543). The easiest belongs to the Denver Broncos (.430).
