We all know that despite their two Super Bowl victories the New York Giants have been wildly inconsistent the past few seasons, actually missing the playoffs three of the past four years. NFL.com analyst Elliot Harrison thinks it will be four of five after 2013.

Michael Bamiro, the 6-foot-8, 335-pound offensive lineman from Stony Brook, has chosen to sign with the Philadelphia Eagles. The Giants were among the teams who watched him work out recently.

The Miami Herald reported Tuesday that free-agent fullback Vonta Leach and the Miami Dolphins will re-start negotiations this week. The Herald's Barry Jackson said Leach could return to the Baltimore Ravens if he doesn't like Miami's offer.

ESPN Insider lists Mathias Kiwanuka as one of the NFC's 10 most versatile players. With the Giants moving him back to full-time defensive end I am not sure they agree with that assessment any longer.
