A Giants' Sketchbook

So a while back in the "What does your screen name mean?" I delurked for the first time and shared a bit of my football related art. There seemed to be some interest in showing more, so I come bearing the two pieces I've managed to transfer to my computer. (I'm in the process of transferring from laptop to desktop and I've got a lot of junk)

So the first one is my avatar picture, which is Eli as if he was a Disney character. This came out of a late night/early morning conversation about how the run for Super Bowl 42 has all the making of a Disney sport movie al a Miracle. Which then disintegrated into how it would make an even better Disney animated movie, complete with songs. (Somewhere on my hard drive, exists an unfinished picture of Tom Brady as the smarmy, smug villain)

The next one is even more ridiculous. During the 2011/2012 season, I and two others ran a blog/weekly comic. And during one post, when discussing the mobility of quarterbacks, I threw out the comment, that when Eli takes off, he resembles an awkward, stampeding giraffe. Annnnnd then I had to draw it. Now, when watching games, any time Eli runs, everybody I'm with screams, "Giraffe in the wild!"

That's all I have for now, but I thought I'd share as we wait for the start of training camp. I can eventually get all Giants related comics up, once I can get them all transferred over.

Cheers!
