Today we begin a player-by-player look at the prospects for each of the players currently on the New York Giants' 90-man roster heading into training camp.
This will be done in alphabetical order, which means we start with a brief look at wide receiver Kris Adams. Adams is a 6-foot-3, 195-pound 25-year-old. He began his NFL career in 2011, spending time with the Chicago Bears, Tennessee Titans and Minnesota Vikings. He spent 2012 with the Indianapolis Colts.
2012 Season In Review
Adams played three games for Indianapolis in 2012, catching two passes for 26 yards. Those are the only games he has spent on an active NFL roster.
2013 Outlook
Adams signed a reserve/futures contract with the Giants in January. The former UTEP star seems like a long shot to make the roster, though there does appear to be competition for the final receiver spot. Perhaps he could find his way onto the practice squad. Adams did not appear to stand out during the recent mini-camp.
