New York Giants news and notes for Tuesday.

Good morning, New York Giants' fans! Here are your Tuesday morning links.

Let's start with a great exchange on Twitter between Michael Strahan and fans of the Dallas Cowboys. Anyone who follows Strahan on Twitter knows he is always game for a war of words, or tweets, as it is.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Network tweeted Monday that Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks is "OK waiting for post-13" to talk contract with the Giants.

Valentine's View: That's better for Nicks for a couple of reasons. He is coming off an injury-plagued, down 2012 season. Provided he has a typical Nicks season in 2013 he will be in better position. He will also have the leverage of the ability to become an unrestricted free agent -- and he will know exactly how much money the Giants are paying fellow wide receiver Victor Cruz.

Now, here are a few links from around the league.
