New York Giants' first-round draft pick Justin Pugh appeared on NFL-AM Monday morning to discuss being selected by the Giants in the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft.
Pugh told NFL-AM that the Giants have not yet told him what position on the line he will be playing to begin his NFL career.
"They have a great offensive line right now. A veteran group that I just want to come in and learn from," Pugh said. "These guys have two Super Bowl rings. I just want to come in and learn from them, learn how to play good offensive line."
The obvious spot right now for Pugh to play would seem to be right tackle, the one unsettled spot on the line entering the 2013 season.
Pugh called himself "a hard-working guy who is going to come in and do the right things on and off the field and make the organization proud that they drafted me.
"Doing the little things right. Something we always learned at Syracuse from coach Marrone is you do the little things right on and off the field like going to class on time, making sure your homework's done then you;'re going to do those little things right on the field like make that key block down the field or make the right call in the right situation."
