I used to be an avid poster on this blog, but due to the time change its tough to engage in meaningful conversation or topics on this blog. I do, however, read through nearly every post and comment on BBV. What I am requesting is to keep the chatter to a minimum. What I mean by this is this; if you don't really have anything to add to the topic of discussion then please don't post anything. An occasional (rec, lol, I agree) is fine, but at some points it's out of hand and IMO I think some users are really trying to get their "total posts" up. If you have something intelligent to add to the discussion, by all means elaborate or communicate your point. I thought it was just me who was getting a bit concerned by this current trend, however I have noticed a few comments out there that specifically mentioned what I perceive as it has been annoying them as well. Just a simple request, without pointing fingers or calling out whom I feel is engaging in this trend. Lets keep the topic on point and add something of value to the excellent blog that Ed provides for us. Thanks, Go Gmen!
