As an irregular contributor the Big Blue View I mostly just read posts. There are some sharp people on this board. So tell me folks - why the fascination with drafting a DE #1 when Kiwi is still on the team? It has been said over and over that he is a better DE than SAM and he actually showed up more at DE in 2012. I do NOT have an answer as to why he seemed to be in on fewer plays but he was - so his numbers are down. Kiwi, JPP and Tuck are three solid DEs. Best case , all three could be top 12 DEs in the league if they play well and stay healthy (big ifs). If Kiwi is a salary cap cut I will be disappointed. Let him focus on DE and I think you will get a solid or even a very good pass rusher. If the Giants draft a DE #1 I will be disappointd unless they have already cut Tuck. Finances allowing, I'd just prefer Kiwi, JPP and Tuck and let Tracy show us something when he is in there. Draft an OL for a change.
