Terrell Thomas offered opinions Monday about Tom Coughlin and the 2012 season.

Good morning, New York Giants' fans! Here is your Wednesday morning notebook.

Let's start with this. For a guy who hasn't played football in two years, Terrell Thomas certainly does manage to keep his name in the news on a regular basis. Tuesday Thomas did an interview with 'NFL AM' and, among other things, predicted that this will be the final season for head coach Tom Coughlin.

"I thought it was this (past) season," Thomas said on NFL Network. "But I think he has one more in him. We have a great nucleus of guys, and I don’t think he wants to give that up. That passion is still burning within him, he’s in that facility all day every day, he’s going crazy not being able to coach and watch film.

"He lives and breathes football. He has everybody in there all day everyday in the offseason. I think he wants to go out on top, hopefully we can get it right and bring a Super Bowl home in Giants Stadium."

Thomas also said he thought Dennix Dixon of the Philadelphia Eagles was the most dangerous quarterback the Giants have to face (what?) and offered some thoughts on what happened last season when the Giants miss the playoffs.

Coincidentally, a tremendous interview Thomas did with Pat Traina was also posted on Tuesday. Thomas talks about how his faith was tested by his latest knee injury, and how important his family has been to his effort to come back once again.

While Traina's piece is outstanding, and required reading I might add, my personal belief is that Thomas probably would have been better off dancing around the Coughlin question. He really has barely been around the Giants for two years.

If the Giants win the Super Bowl in 2014 maybe Coughlin does ride off into the sunset. Right now, however, nobody knows.
