East Rutherford, N.J. -- The New York Giants, desperately seeking their first win, trail the Philadelphia Eagles, 19-7, at halftime. The Giants were booed off the field by the MetLife Stadium crowd at the half.

The Giants took a 7-0 lead with 11:37 left in the first quarter on a 5-yard touchdown run by David Wilson. The five-play, 72-yard drive was highlighted by a 49-yard pass from Eli Manning to Hakeem Nicks.

The Eagles responded with a 10-play, 58-yard drive that ended with a 40-yard Alex Henery field goal to make the score 7-3 Giants with 6:49 to play in the quarter. The key play was a 34-yard scramble by Michael Vick on third-and-19 from his own 37-yard line.

Philadelphia closed within 7-6 with 10:40 left in the first half on a 27-yard field goal by Henery. The Eagles went 51 yards in eight plays, but the Giants held Philadelphia to field goal after the Eagles had first-and-goal at the 7-yard line.

The Eagles took a 13-7 lead with 8:19 left in the half on a 1-yard run by LeSean McCoy. That completed a four-play 71-yard drive. Trumaine McBride had a possible interception to right through his hands on a 56-yard pass to DeSean Jackson, setting up the score.

Philadelphia extended its lead to 16-7 on a 29-yard field by Henery with 2:38 left in the half. That was set up when an untouched Brandon Jacobs fumbled the ball at the New York 47-yard line.

Manning is 10-of-20 for 152 yards. Hakeem Nicks has 6 catches for 120 yards.

Vick has completed only 6-of-14 passes for 105 yards, but has hurt the Giants by running 7 times for 79 yards. Vick, who appeared to hurt a hamstring late in the second quarter, was replaced by Nick Foles for the final few plays of the first half.

Nick Foles replaced Vick and led the Eagles to a 36-yard field goal to end the half, giving Philly its 19-7 lead.
