New York Giants' Injury Report: Six Giants out Sunday

Chris Snee - USA TODAY Sports

Chris Snee headlines lengthy injury list for Giants.

The (0-4) New York Giants will have a depleted roster when they take the field Sunday vs. the 1-3 Philadelphia Eagles. Six Giants have been declared out for the Week 5 contest. They are:

C David Baas (neck), OG Chris Snee (hip), CB Jayron Hosley (hamstring), DT Linval Joseph (ankle/knee), TE Adrien Robinson (foot), CB Aaron Ross (back).

Here is the rest of the Giants' injury report.

Doubtful
CB Corey Webster (groin)

Questionable
DT Cullen Jenkins (achilles/knee)
WR Louis Murphy (ankle)

Probable
DT Shaun Rogers (back)
LB Mark Herzlich (toe)
CB Terrell Thomas (knee)

Snee is probably headed to injured reserve, having told reporters today that surgery on his hip is "likely."

The Giants have been dealing a makeshift offensive line most of the season. The defensive tackle injuries to Joseph, Jenkins and Rogers leave them depleted there, a problem with the Eagles' high-powered rushing attack. The Giants will also be thin in the secondary without Ross and Hosley and with Webster unlikely to play.

There is no word as yet as to whether or not the Jon Beason trade will go through. With Snee headed toward IR, safety Will Hill ready to come back from suspension and the long injury list it seems likely there will be some roster moves prior to Sunday.
