Who was the best Giant in October?

Who was been the New York Giants' best player in the month of October? Use the poll at the end of this sponsored post to let us know.

Here are my five nominees, and what they did in October.

Victor Cruz -- The wide receiver caught 21 passes for 252 yards in four games this month. He did not score any touchdowns, so we haven't seen the salsa in a while.

Jon Beason -- Has started three games at middle linebacker since coming to the Giants from the Carolina Panthers in a mid-season trade. Led the Giants in tackles in two of those games and is generally credited with being the key to the team's defensive turnaround. The Giants' defense has allowed just three points in its last 10 quarters of play.

Peyton Hillis -- Picked up off the street before the Week 7 game against the Minnesota Vikings. Hillis has been the team's leading rusher in both games played and has a total of 106 yards on 38 carries (2.8 yards per carry). He also has 8 receptions.

Antrel Rolle -- The Giants' safety/nickel corner has interceptions in each of the Giants' victories. He also had a sack Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles, and his leadership has been key in pushing the Giants as they try to overcome their 0-6 start.

Justin Tuck -- The much-maligned veteran defensive end is quietly having a terrific season. Pro Football Focus lists him as the team's highest-scoring defensive player at +9.6, including +9.4 vs. the run. Tuck has just one sack in the past four games, but has 16 pressures and six stops. For the season he leads the Giants with 28 quarterback pressures.
