New York Giants' headlines for Friday, 10/25.

Philadelphia's Lincoln Financial Field is apparently not Victor Cruz's favorite place. That, however, is where the New York Giants will be Sunday when they face the Philadelphia Eagles.

"We don’t enjoy playing there. It’s something we have to do. We have to go out there and take care of business on the road. We just enjoy that," Cruz said on Thursday. "It's not the best place we always want to go and play. We have to go there and play. We have to do what we have to do."

Quinn 'Embarrassed' by punt coverage

The Giants have now given up three punt returns for touchdowns this season, all of more than 80 yards. That, according to data released by Elias, is the first time that has happened since 1959. The Giants also surrendered a 69-yard kickoff return to the Minnesota Vikings on Monday night.

"It's always something different, so you're shuffling guys in and out and trying to find solutions that way. There are not that many guys to do that with," special teams coordinator Tom Quinn said. "They've all been different circumstances and it just hasn't been good enough for anyone. We're all embarrassed by it."

Gilbride: Giants can't be careful with Hillis

Peyton Hillis carried 18 times and caught five passes in his Giants' debut Monday, his first action of the 2013 NFL season. Brandon Jacobs, also picked up in-season as a free agent, has not played since injuring a hamstring while carrying 22 times in Week 6, his most action in a couple of years. Offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride knows the risk or riding Hillis too hard, but says the Giants might not have a choice.

"We can’t. We’ve only got two. There’s only two, so there’s nowhere else to go," Gilbride said Thursday. "I guess you have to be conscious of it to a point, but it’s just that your options are so limited anyway and there’s certain things that you can ask Michael (Cox) to do and there’s certain things you can ask Peyton to do and when those things are coming up they have to do them and there’s nowhere else to go."
