We begin today with something not about the Giants at all -- rather, it is about former Giants' defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo. Apparently, players with the New Orleans Saints, where Spagnuolo is currently running the defense have no use for him. Read on.

An anonymous New Orleans Saints player said defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo should be fired, calling Spagnuolo "a control freak" who "treats people like crap," the Times-Picayune reported late Tuesday.
"Trust me, all the guys were being politically correct this season when answering questions," the player said. "It's bad."
Valentine's View: Wow! You never heard anything like that during Spagnuolo's tenure with the Giants. I have no idea how much truth there is to that, or if some of the bitterness is just because the Saints defense was historically bad in 2012. One thing is certain -- at least right now you are not hearing Spagnuolo's name connected to any head-coaching jobs.
