As the 2013 NFL Draft begins there is speculation floating around that the New York Giants could be interested in Notre Dame tight end Tyler Eifert if he is available with the 19th overall pick.

Eifert was often connected with the Giants early in the pre-draft process when it became obvious the Giants would lose Martellus Bennett, who signed with the Chicago Bears as a free agent.
The speculation about Eifert seemed to dissipate after the Giants signed Brandon Myers, who caught 79 passes for the Oakland Raiders a season ago.
The Giants have mostly been connected with defensive ends Tank Carradine and Bjeorn Werner of Florida State, with any of the top offensive linemen who fall to 19 or with cornerbacks and linebackers. But Eifert might be in play.
