With only nine days remaining until the 2013 NFL Draft you didn't think we would get through a whole day without tossing out at least one mock draft for you to discuss, now did you? This one is a seven-round computer simulation from Draft Tek, which was released Tuesday morning.
Here are the simulation's choices for the Giants:
Round 1 (19th) -- Kenny Vaccaro, S, Texas
Note: Missouri defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson, North Carolina guard Jonathan Cooper, Florida State defensive end Bjoern Werner, Alabama guard Chance Warmack and Washington cornerback Desmond Trufant are off the baord. Still on the board are Alabama tackle D.J. Fluker, Florida State cornerback Xavier Rhodes and linebacker Alec Ogletree (georgia) and Manti Te'o (Notre Dame).
Round 2 (49th) -- Jordan Poyer, CB, Oregon State
Note: Among players left on the baord here are Khaseem Greene (LB, Rutgers), Zach Ertz (TE, Stanford), Kawann Short (DT, Purdue) and Terron Armstead (OT, Arkansas-Pine Bluff).
Round 3 (81st) -- Barrett Jones, C, Alabama
Note: The next three players off the board are Justin Pugh (OG, Syracuse), Blidi Wreh-Wilson (CB, UConn) and Jonathan Bostic (MLB, Florida).
Round 4 (116th) -- Dallas Thomas, RT, Tennessee
Note: Cornerbacks D.J. Hayden (Houston) and Tyrann Mathieu (LSU), as well as inside linebacker Kiko Alsono (Oregon) are still on the board here.
Round 5 (152nd) -- Mike Gillislee, RB, Florida
Note: Boston College left tackle Emmett Cleary, Rutgers linebacker Steve Beauharnais and Princeton defensive end Mike Catapano are still available.
Round 6 (187th) -- Denard Robinson, WR, Michigan
Note: I can't decide whether this seems like a pick the Giants would make or not. Robinson, of course, is converting to receiver after playing quarterback at Michigan.
Round 7 (225th) -- Tourek Williams, DE, Florida International
Note: Duke QB Sean Renfree, who we have talked about, is still on the board. He gets taken by the Houston Texans (233rd) before the Giants' final selection.
Round 7 (253rd) -- Earl Watford, OG, James Madison
Note: Stony Brook running back Miguel Maysonet went 250th to the Miami Dolphins.
