Players To Watch

This should be an interesting day for Giants' fans. Whether you believe them or not, mock drafters have consistently connected the Giants to tight ends early in the draft. Offensive line could be another area of need, which head coach Tom Coughlin alluded to on Friday when he called the free-agent status of left tackle Will Beatty and left guard Kevin Boothe "a concern." As we said earlier, players at both of those positions hit the field today.

Tight ends: Zach Ertz of Stanford and Tyler Eifert of Notre Dame are the top two tight ends and each has been connected to the Giants. Gavin Escobar of San Diego State is also highly-regarded. [Mocking The Draft Tight End Rankings]

Offensive linemen: D.J. Fluker of Alabama, a right tackle, is a player many have connected to the Giants. Fluker is one of many linemen who could interest the Giants with the 19th overall selection or later in the 2013 NFL Draft. [Offensive Tackle Rankings | Guard Rankings]
