My initial thoughts and maybe nothing's set in stone and tweaks/improvements will continue post-haste:

- It's snazzy and all but does the lead article need to take up the whole screen? I'd like to see some more of the content quickly on the home screen, i.e., if there are new fan posts, if there are new comments to previous official news items I'm still following, etc.

- It takes way longer to load on the mobile site and the full page lead story photo is even more problematic because it flickers off when scrolling down to see, you know, the rest of the actual content of the site that you used to be able to see on the home screen initially (b/c one story photo wouldn't take up the whole damn screen).

- And did I mention it takes way long to load (on mobile at least)? In this day and age I don't normally waste my time with those kinds of sites as much, i.e., NJ.com for mobile. I'll still check occasionally if I see an article on twitter or if I'm especially hungry for Giants stories but really rarely go there on mobile b/c of the site loading issue. Big Blue View used to be a breeze on mobile. If it's slow now sorry to say I'll not have the patience for it on mobile any more.

Hopefully things might get more streamlined?

Not trying to be a negative guy. I just really thought the Big Blue View was always a seamless and great experience so I'm dropping my hopefully constructive comments in the box.
