Where was this kind of first-half performance on Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers? The New York Giants thoroughly dominated the Carolina Panthers in the first half on Thursday, and went to the locker room with a 20-0 lead. So much for all those disadvantages of being the road team in a short week.

It's been an amazing offensive first half for Eli Manning (18-for-23, 160 yards, 1 TD), with support from the unlikely duo of Andre Brown (13 carries, 96 yards) and Ramses Barden (6 catches, 107 yards).

The Giants have 263 yards of total offense to Carolina's 122. The Giants have held the ball for 19:19.

This looks like it should be an easy victory. You should know better, though. The Giants never make things easy on themselves, so don't be surprised if you see some sort of ugliness in the second half.

Enjoy!
