This was not a pretty first half for the New York Giants, or really a particularly good one. And it got worse when Eric Wright returned the third interception of the half against Eli Manning 60 yards for a 24-13 Tampa Bay lead.
At least two of those picks are simply really poor throws by Manning.
The Giants have lost David Diehl and Domenik Hixon to injuries. Ahmad Bradshaw has also not played since early in the game due to a neck injury. The Giants certainly don't look like a team defending a Super Bowl title. The MetLife Stadium crowd booed them off the field, justifiably.
