Has anyone tried to buy a Nike jersey recently?

I went to a local Modell's the other day looking to purchase a nice new Nike Giants jersey and what I saw was one of the most horrendous things I have seen in a long while. Before I get to the jersey itself, lets talk about the price. Reebok replicas were 90 dollars...Nike replicas are 100. OK, Nike is a better brand and the product is probably better than the Reebok one, right? Wrong. THIS THING WAS GARBAGE. For one, this thing was screen printed. Yes, the same screen printed as the jersey you got when you were 6. Ironed onto the jersey like it was no big deal. So, Reebok was selling stitched replica jerseys for 10 dollars less that Nike. Then there was the fabric. I dont know about you but I like my jerseys to be relatively light and good airflow through them so Im not sweating like a lunatic. If youre like me boy will you be pissed. This thing felt like straight cotton. It was just a heavy material and in no way shape or form would this feel comfortable to me. So, I take a look at the authentic jerseys thinking "Ill just pay the difference so that at least Im getting the nice stitched jerseys". WRONG AGAIN. This thing was just as much garbage as the replica and was 300 dollars.

Am I the only one that has encountered this nonsense. I would buy a new jersey every few months off the Reebok line because they were high quality and quite nice. Instead now I am forced to buy something I could have done myself with a few numbers an iron and an ironing board.

RANT OVER
