Q: What did your ankle feel like when it came off yesterday?
A: It feels good. It was definitely decently jammed up but now that I’m walking around I’m starting to get the blood flowing back in there. Now I’ve just got to get it stronger so I can go back out there and run full speed. I’m going to meet with the doctor later this week to get an update and go from there.
Q: Do you feel like your days are ticking away now that you’re in your last week here?
A: Yes, definitely. I was fortunate enough to get hurt really early so I’ll still have a decent amount of time left at camp. But the pressure’s on and the clock is ticking so I’m going to get back out there as soon as I can.
Q: Are you out for Friday?
A: I’m not 100 percent sure yet.
Q: Are you going to wait for the update later this week before you start practicing?
A: Yes, right now I’m just trying to get it stronger again. I can’t really walk 100 percent yet so once I get my strength back I’ll try and get back out there.
Q: So it’ll be a couple days [before you practice]?
A: Yes I would assume so.
Q: Was today the first day they let you take the boot off?
